Prove it in your market before you scale the budget

Every med spa market is different. What books out a clinic in Scottsdale can fall flat in Ottawa, and the price point that works in one neighbourhood won't in another. Committing a large budget before anyone has tested your specific market is how owners lose money quickly.

What a market test is

A controlled first period of spending whose job is to produce information, not primarily appointments. We put a small, deliberate budget behind a set of offers and creative in your city, and watch what people actually respond to.

By the end you know which offer moves, roughly what an enquiry costs you, and whether the numbers support scaling. That's the difference between a budget decision and a guess.

What it measures

Cost per enquiry, which offer wins, which creative angle earns attention, and how enquiries behave once they arrive: do they reply, do they book, do they show up.

That last part matters more than owners expect. Cheap enquiries that never book are worse than expensive ones that do, and you only see that difference by measuring past the click.

Why we do it before recommending a number

Any agency can quote you a monthly ad budget on a first call. It's a guess dressed as expertise, because at that point nobody has data about your market.

We'd rather tell you what your market actually costs after testing it than name a confident number we can't stand behind.

What happens if the test goes badly

Sometimes a market is harder than expected, or an offer doesn't land, or the numbers don't support scaling. You will hear that plainly.

A small controlled test that says 'not yet' has saved you the much larger amount you would have spent finding out the slow way.

Questions about this

How long does the market test take?
The initial calibration is typically the first week of spending, though how quickly it produces a clear read depends on your budget and how competitive your market is. We'll tell you what we're seeing as it comes in rather than going quiet.
Do I pay for the test separately?
The test spend is part of your ad budget, which you fund directly. There's no separate testing fee on top of the management fee.
What if the test shows my market is too competitive?
Then you'll hear that. It's a better outcome than scaling into a market that won't return the spend, and it's the honest reason the test exists.
